The Oneocean Approach to Performance Coaching

Coaching is a valued business tool for supporting business leaders with specific needs and busy schedules. Our coaching solutions are designed around individual and organisational objectives and are effective, focused and flexible.

We always start with a very clear mandate between the individual being coached (the coachee) and their manager on behalf of the organisation and ourselves, to ensure there is a shared vision of success.

Our coaching programmes are supported by rigorous assessments to diagnose and agree the agenda which we work on in our regular meetings – usually over a period of 6-12 months.

Our approach is business focused; goals, objectives and outcomes are established at the beginning of our work together and reviewed regularly.

The outcome is a learning experience shaped, negotiated and owned by the business leader, understood and supported by their manager on behalf of the organisation and facilitated by the coach.

Our coaching is characterised by:

The process and framework

Coaching process and metrics

The individual, their coach and the coachees’s manager work in partnership to achieve results. We engage the coachee's intellect, emotion, belief and business perspective, ultimately leveraging their personal development and growth to drive forward with measurable results.

Coaching sessions are scheduled at a location, time and venue most convenient for the coachee. We use the following framework for our coaching contracts:
